Drive-thru burritos coming to Modesto with opening of newest Chipotle
Modesto will soon get its first Chipotlane — a popular fast-food chain’s signature drive-thru lane.
Chipotle, a Mexican-American restaurant known for its customizable menu, has two Modesto locations. The third location will open Tuesday and will feature the new digital order pickup.
That means it’s only for customers who’ve ordered online, not for those who want to pull up and place their order.
The new restaurant, at 4620 Dale Road, will start serving customers at 10:45 a.m. Regular hours will be 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
New on the menu and available for a limited time are carne asada and red chimichurri, according to a news release.
Chipotle is hiring crew members starting at $20 to $21 per hour. Benefits include free food, tuition assistance and digital tips.
