New teriyaki restaurant opening in Modesto. How to get free bowls for a year
Teriyaki Madness, which began construction in Wood Colony Plaza on Pelandale Avenue more than two months ago, has announced an opening date.
The Panda Express “rival” will hold a grand opening event Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 3900 Pelandale Ave., Suites 610 and 620. It is the first of the more than 160-store franchise to open in the Central Valley.
The restaurant sells made-to-order teriyaki bowls as well as orange chicken and chicken katsu. Proteins are served over a choice of white rice, brown rice, fried rice or noodles, with steamed or stir-fried vegetables.
Teriyaki Madness is giving the first five customers that place an order in store on Friday free bowls for a year. The next 20 people to order in store will get free bowls for a month.
Free bowls for a year equals 24 free bowl vouchers and free bowls for a month equals four free bowl vouchers, given to winners through their Mad Rewards account, according to the Teriyaki Madness website.
Friday and Saturday, junior or regular-sized chicken teriyaki bowls with rice and stir-fried vegetables are $6 each (regularly $12.59 for a junior and $13.99 for a regular, according to the Pleasanton location’s online order form).
Teriyaki Madness sits next to Planet Fitness in the shopping center with Vallarta Supermarkets and Nick the Greek.
