One of California’s most popular chicken chains is celebrating the start of summer by offering one of its menu items for free.

Customers can get a complimentary three-count Chick-n-Strips entree as Chick-fil-A’s “way to say thank you to the community,” according to a news release.

The offer is valid at Northern California stores from June 9-21. No purchase is required.

“We love serving our community and can’t think of a better way to welcome summer than with a complimentary fan favorite like our delicious Chick-n-Strips,” said Micah Payton, owner of both Manteca Chick-fil-A locations.

Guests can claim the offer through the Chick-fil-A app by placing a mobile order or by having the app open while at the store, with location services enabled.

There is a limit of one offer per person, per Chick-fil-A account. It’s not valid with any other offer.
