Jersey Mike’s has set an opening date for its restaurant in Modesto. Here are event details
Jersey Mike’s Subs has confirmed a grand opening for its first Stanislaus County location.
The restaurant, at 1809 McHenry Ave., Suite A, will open Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. The grand opening will last through Dec. 15 and will include a fundraiser to support HAVEN (Healthy Alternatives to Violent Environments), a Stanislaus County nonprofit that advocates for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
Customers can receive a fundraising coupon by making a minimum $3 contribution to HAVEN prior to the restaurant’s opening. The coupon can be exchanged for a regular sub between Dec. 11 and 15.
Customers must have a coupon to be eligible. Haven offices are at 618 13th St. in Modesto and at 301 Starr Ave. in Turlock.
“At Jersey Mike’s, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and we are honored to partner with an organization that makes such a profound impact in Stanislaus County,” said Modesto franchise owner Michael Khalil.
Jersey Mike’s is known for slicing its meats and cheeses on the spot and baking its bread in store. Cheesesteaks are grilled fresh.
The restaurant’s hours will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
Customers can place orders in store, or for in-store pickup through the website or the Jersey Mike’s app. Delivery is available through the Jersey Mike’s app or through third-party delivery partners like DoorDash. Curbside pickup is available for orders placed in the Jersey Mike’s app.
The restaurant is accepting job applications, which can be submitted at jerseymikes.com/careers.
