Update: Management at Stanislaus County Costco warehouses reconsider business hours change
The general manager of Costco on Pelandale Avenue in Modesto has decided not to cut the warehouses’ business hours after all.
The change was supposed to come about June 10, with the warehouse opening an hour later during the week and both opening later and closing earlier on weekends.
General Manager Michael Tajiri said he will wait to see “how everything goes” with the opening of the Riverbank warehouse before deciding to make a change in Modesto.
A Friday morning call to the Turlock warehouse on Tegner Road confirmed hours will no longer be changing there, either.
Business hours at both sites will continue to be Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Gas station hours will also remain the same.
The hours of the new Riverbank warehouse have yet to be announced.
