McDonald’s job listings are just a swipe away on Snapchat; actual work comes later

Know any young people who love to be on Snapchat and also could use a job?

McDonald’s has teamed up with the tech firm to recruit restaurant workers via smart phone.

Fortune.com reports that McDonald’s has started running 10-second video ads where employees talk about what it’s like to work there. Users can then swipe up on the app to apply for openings.

McDonald’s calls the approach “snaplications,” saying it’s a first of its kind hiring tool.

The company is hoping to hire 250,000 people this summer worldwide.
