Modesto Aeropostale store closing, but only briefly

Signs in the Aeropostale clothing store in Modesto’s Vintage Faire Mall announce an impending closure. Well, that is and isn’t happening.

Aeropostale, as reported last month by Bloomberg, sold last month to a retail consortium after filing for bankruptcy last spring. The new owner will be bringing in new merchandise; a liquidator is selling out the current inventory. Some Aeropostales may still close, but it does not appear that will happen at the local store.
