Coroner searching for families of two men

The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office is looking for family of two men who died recently.

Jeffrey Scott Stafford, 58, died on Friday when he jumped from the Hatch Road overpass onto Highway 99 and was hit by a car. He left some of his belongings at the top of the overpass including a walker that had a suicide note tucked in a pocket.

On Sunday, 61-year-old Paul Boyla died at Central Valley Specialty Hospital on 17th Street in downtown Modesto. He was a resident of Manteca.

Family of Boyla is asked to Detective Andrew Glover and family of Stafford is asked to call Detective Tom Killian. Both can be reached at (209) 567-4500.
