YESTERYEARS
100 YEARS AGO: The Modesto Theatre would be presenting a five-reel movie that cost the theater $2,000. The movie was “Hell’s Hinges” and starred W.S. Hart. Also playing at the theater was a two-reeler Keystone comedy, “His Wife’s Auto Troubles.” The cost was 15 cents for adults and 5 cents for children.
