Great weather for harvesting in Modesto

The sun shone, but not too brightly, on workers harvesting squash in south Modesto this week. The weather through the holiday weekend in the Northern San Joaquin Valley looks to be pretty spectacular. Highs are expected in the upper 70s on Wednesday, rising to the mid-80s through the holiday weekend as a few clouds clear out, leaving mostly sunny conditions. Overnight lows are forecast to drop to the mid-50s.
