Where: Witner Hall/Howard Training Center, 1424 Stonum Road
Info: Open to anyone 60 years or older. Program includes games, music, jigsaw puzzles and trivia games. To reserve a meal, call at least 24 hours in advance at 209-303-0704.

When: Thursday, 11 a.m.
Where: Las Palmas Mobile Estates, 250 E. Las Palmas Ave.

YESTERYEARS
75 YEARS AGO: It was announced, in a special ceremony, that Riverbank Grammar School would be presented a flag bearing the national colors and the California bear flag. This presentation was conducted by the American Legion and its auxiliary. Also, Mrs. Alfred J. Mathebat of Alameda, chairwoman of the national defense committee of the legion auxiliary, was the speaker for the event.
