Get your Graffiti gear in downtown Modesto

New to this year’s annual summer celebration in Modesto: a store dedicated to all things Graffiti.

Modesto Graffiti USA had its official opening downtown May 13.

Just in time for Graffiti month in June, enthusiasts can buy T-shirts, cups, key chains and more that commemorate George Lucas’ landmark movie that revisits the filmmaker’s youth in Modesto.

Modesto Graffifi USA is at 1220 J St. in downtown Modesto.

The store, which is outfitted to look like a diner, is housed in the building occupied by the nonprofit Peer Recovery Art Project.

Hours are Wednesday though Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
