Coroner looks for kin of Turlock nursing home resident never visited by family

The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office is looking for the family of a woman who for 20 years lived in a Turlock nursing home without ever receiving a visit from family members.

Jane Sanchez, 90, died of natural causes on May 15 at Emanuel Medical Center.

Sanchez had lived at Brandel Manor in Turlock since 1987.

“The staff has no record of any family ever visiting or hearing her speak of family,” said Deputy Tom Killian.

Anyone with information is asked to call Killian at 209-567-4415.
