YESTERYEARS
25 YEARS AGO: It was announced that the San Joaquin Athletic Association had placed the boys basketball team at Tokay High School on probation, for allegedly recruiting two students who lived outside the school’s attendance map. As such, Tokay was not allowed to defend its 1990-91 league title and was banned from postseason play for the 1991-92 season.
