Police searching for suspects who shot man in west Modesto

A man suffered non-life threatening injuries when he was shot twice in west Modesto on Sunday night.

The shooting occurred at about 10:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Sierra Drive, said Modesto Police Department spokeswoman Heather Graves.

Witnesses reported seeing two Latino men running from the area.

The victim was shot in the leg and the abdomen. He was not cooperative with investigating officers.
