Special Needs Prom offers a night in Wonderland

The Modesto-based Society for disABILITIES held its fifth annual Special Needs Prom on Friday evening at the Del Rio Country Club. More than 200 people with disabilities attended the event, which had an “Alice in Wonderland” theme. Friends and student and adult volunteers were their dates for the evening. Promgoers also were treated to the services of professional hairstylists and makeup artists.
