Board of Supervisors watch (5/2/2016)
The Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the basement chamber of Tenth Street Place, at 1010 10th St. in Modesto. The following items will be considered:
- Formation of Fruit Yard lighting district at southwest corner of Highway 132 and Geer Road. The 35-acre district would maintain two streetlights installed by the Modesto Irrigation District.
- A public hearing on rezoning for Valley BMW-Kia to subdivide 9 acres at 4761 McHenry Ave. into five parcels. Proposed are two auto dealerships and future auto-related uses between Kiernan Avenue and Bangs Avenue.
- Agreement with International Rescue Committee for refugee services, targeted assistance and employment services.
