Info: Trained car seat technicians will be on site to assist the public in making sure children are riding in an appropriate car seat for their age, weight and height. This event will provide parents and caregivers the opportunity to learn how to install and use child safety seats correctly. Anyone unable to attend or who would like more car seat safety information may contact Stanislaus County Health Services Agency Keep Baby Safe Program at 209-558-7400.

YESTERYEARS
75 YEARS AGO: Oakdale Union High School students were awarded prizes for posters they created. The posters were in conjunction with “Kindness to Animals Week.” First place went to Allen Redfield, followed by Ivin Schmaljohann and June Pimley. Honorable mentions went to Henry Wilt and Bob Damir.
