Clear days ahead after chance of showers in Modesto Monday morning

From Saturday through Monday morning, Modesto received just over an inch of rain, according to Modesto Irrigation District data collected downtown.

The great majority of that rain, 0.84 inches, fell Sunday. Saturday’s measured rainfall was 0.03 inches, and as of 7 a.m. Monday, an additional 0.19 inches was recorded.

The National Weather Service forecast for Modesto is for isolated showers before 11 a.m. Monday, then mostly sunny, with a high near 64 degrees.

The forecast through Sunday is for clear skies. The high temperatures are to be near 67 Tuesday, 70 Wednesday, 75 Thursday, 77 Friday, 76 Saturday and 70 Sunday.
