Modesto Junior College to showcase high school student artwork

Modesto City Schools high school art teachers prepared an exhibit of student artwork at the Modesto Junior College Art Gallery for Youth Art Month. Christopher Winterfeldt cwinterfeldt@modbee.com

Art in many forms was delivered Thursday to the Modesto Junior College Art Gallery in preparation for the annual Youth Art Month exhibit, which coincides with a similar nationwide effort. The work of Stanislaus County high school students will be on display Saturday through Thursday at the gallery on the MJC East Campus, 435 College Ave. Hours are noon to 2 p.m Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, with an awards reception 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
