Broken pole leaves 3,000-plus Riverbank-area customers in dark
A broken utility pole was found to be the cause of a power failure that affected 3,380 customers in the Riverbank area Tuesday morning, said a Pacific Gas & Electric spokeswoman.
The failure occurred at 5:03 a.m. and crews worked quickly to identify the cause and restore power, Jacqueline Ratto said. At about 8:40 a.m., she said full power had been restored to all but 30 customers.
