YESTERYEARS

25 YEARS AGO: Highway 99 between Ceres and Keyes would be widened to six lanes and include frontage roads on the East and West sides. This was the plan proposed by the Department of Transportation; the project was estimated at $15.5 million. The proposed widening project would include an overpass at Faith Home Road with estimated completion of the project by 1993.
