Mr. Peanut has a smooth and creamy ride into Modesto

Mr. Peanut and his 26-foot-long peanut on wheels, the Planters Nutmobile, visited Modesto and Ripon Save Mart stores Friday to “shell-ebrate” Mr. Peanut’s 100th birthday. He posed with photos, and the Nutmobile crew handed out peanuts, stickers and coupons. The Nutmobile will be back in the area Sunday, visiting the Save Mart at 1172 N. Main St. in Manteca from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Save Mart at 15240 S. Harlan Road in Lathrop from 3 to 5 p.m.
