First responders in Modesto honored

First responders attended and were saluted at an event in Modesto Monday night.

Unity Matters, hosted at The House, was aimed at honoring and appreciating law enforcement in the community. “It’s time we served and protect them,” a flier read.

The chaplains for the Modesto police and the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department joined other groups in helping to coordinate the event.
