100 YEARS AGO: The Modesto Christian Science Society had a free lecture on Christian Science led by William R. Rathoom of Denver. He was a member of the Board of Lectureship of the Mother Church, First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston. The presentation was at the Modesto Theaters at 3 p.m.
