Update: Boy, 14, reported missing in Modesto found
A 14-year-old boy reported missing Friday afternoon was found Saturday evening after Modesto Police sought the public’s help to find him.
Modesto student Elijah McReynolds was reported missing Friday after he did not show up to an after-school program at Roosevelt Junior High. According to police, he was believed to have left school on his own.
Modesto police posted on their Twitter feed Saturday night that the boy was found.
Police posted an alert on social media Saturday afternoon about the missing boy, seeking public help, but there was not an Amber Alert issued since no kidnapping or abduction was suspected.
