What: FLU VACCINATIONS
When: Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Stanislaus Public Health Department, 820 Scenic Drive
Info: Stanislaus County Health Services Agency is offering flu vaccinations for the public. Flu vaccinations are available at the Public Health location. Cost is $10 per child (6 months through 18 years) and $27 per adult. No appointments are necessary. For more information, call the Flu Hotline at (209) 558-8872.
Patterson
What: 3M CLOUD LIBRARY EBOOK TRAINING
When: Tuesday, 3 p.m.
Where: Patterson branch of the Stanislaus County Library, 46 N. Salado Ave.

What: BOOK-N-CRAFT ACTIVITY
When: Tuesday, 4 p.m.
Where: Salida branch of the Stanislaus County Library, 4835 Sisk Road
Info: Children are invited to a Book-n-Craft event featuring “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” by Bill Martin Jr., John Archambault and Lois Ehlert. Following a reading of the book, participants will be invited to make their own alphabet coconut tree. Craft books will be on display and available for checkout. YESTERYEARS
100 YEARS AGO: The Hotel Hughson was sold to Mrs. Hughson by J.M. Kelsey. Hughson and Kelsey had been in negotiations for a month before the agreement to sell and purchase were satisfactory to both parties. And residing manager M.A. Westgate would remain the hotel’s manager.
