YESTERYEARS
40 YEARS AGO: The Board of Trustees for Turlock Elementary School District voted to provide additional teaching facilities for an influx of students. The trustees transferred $300,000 from district reserves to finance two relocatable classroom buildings, and kick off a plan for more building over the next three years. The board was also able to cover added costs of teacher administrative salaries, paving at Crowell School and the addition of storage room at Osborn School.
