Info: The Center for Urban Performance and Service and Westside Ministries present “Church Lady Christmas,” a Broadway-style musical comedy. From hip hop and tap to dazzling aerial arts, this cast of 150 dancers and actors are sure to leave you asking for more. A silent auction will be held before both performances to support Community Cultivators 4-H club. Event is free, but an offering will be taken to help cover production costs. 25 YEARS AGO: It was announced that school districts in Stanislaus County would receive $115,000 to spend on alcohol and drug prevention education, courtesy of the state Office of Criminal Justice Planning. It was a grand total of $115,454 in supplemental funds for the education program.
