The National Weather Service recorded a low of 32 in Modesto on Sunday. The forecast calls for patchy frost until 10 a.m. Monday, followed by a mix of sun and clouds through Wednesday and a chance of rain Thursday. November is ending with 2.43 inches of rain, nearly twice the city’s historical average for the month. Better yet for water supplies, the Sierra Nevada snowpack is off to a strong start after four years of drought.
