Man found hanging in Modesto park tree; Police investigating incident as suicide

A man was found hanging from a tree in a Modesto Park Sunday morning.

A woman walking her dog discovered the man hanging from a tree in Cesar Chavez Park on Fourth Street at about 7:20 a.m., said Modesto Police Lt. Kelly Scott.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is being investigated as a suicide.
