75 YEARS AGO: It was announced that Chief William C. Fuller of the Memuk Tribe was elected government Indian agent for the Cherokee Reservation at the reservation’s annual election. Other officers included Harry Butler, vice agent; Viola Cox, secretary; and Red Geisgorfs, treasurer.
