Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors Watch

The Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors took the following action Tuesday evening:

▪  Unanimously approved a four-year appointment for John Doering to continue as county counsel. Doering, a graduate of McGeorge School of Law in 1990, was appointed to two previous four-year stints as the county’s legal adviser. The new appointment, which takes effect in April, was discussed in closed session Tuesday.

▪  Heard a report on real estate fraud prosecutions.

▪  Accepted the certified results of the Nov. 3 election from county Registrar of Voters Lee Lundrigan.
