What: Us Too Prostate Cancer Support Group meeting

Info: Us Too is celebrating its 18th anniversary. Organizers said the group will “remember our founders and leaders, recount our history, in story and photos, and recommit to our mission of education, support, and fellowship.” Family members, including women, are encouraged to attend. What: Sixth annual Thanksgiving Peace on Your Plate Feast & Movie

When: Saturday, 4 to 6 p.m.

When: Kindergarten through eighth grade, Dec. 1, 6 p.m.; high school, Dec. 3, 6 p.m.

What: Stanislaus County Veterans Advisory Commisison meeting

When: Monday, 5:30 p.m.

Where: County Center III, 917 Oakdale Road at the Stanislaus County Learning Institute (park in the chain link fence area)

40 YEARS AGO: It was announced that a complaint had been brought to the state Agricultural Labor Relations Board against E.&J. Gallo Winery with claims of “massive surveillance” and unlawfully aiding the Teamsters union. If the complaint were upheld, it would have meant another secret ballot election to determine farmworker representation. The complaint accused Gallo of 50 violations of the state’s farm labor laws.
