Young or old, they’re on a roll in Knights Ferry

The 52nd annual Knights Ferry Pumpkin Roll drew contestants young and old to heave the big orange globes down a street Sunday. The historic town on Stanislaus County’s eastern edge celebrated Halloween a day late with a pancake breakfast at the Odd Fellows Hall and craft fair at the Community Club. The contests got rolling with one for kids 5 and younger, followed by one for everyone else.
