The annual Thanks-For-Giving holiday dinner at Modesto Centre Plaza drew a huge crowd Thursday. Volunteers dished up plates of turkey and all the trimmings for attendees. Modesto entrepreneur Dan Costa and his family have hosted the event each Thanksgiving, when they and a team of volunteers serve hundreds of dinners. The dinner is intended to be a formal sit-down meal, served on china dishes to the needy or anyone who doesn’t have someplace to be for Thanksgiving.
