Thanksgiving week in Modesto off to a chilly start
After a chilly start to the work week — for those of us who are working — temperatures will climb a bit by Thanksgiving before falling again and bringing a chance of rain this weekend, forecasters say.
The National Weather Service calls for a high of 63 degrees on Monday, with patchy fog in the morning and evening. Overnight lows will dip to about 43 degrees. The next couple of days will see temperatures warm a bit, to a high of 68 on Wednesday.
Thanksgiving is expected to be sunny and mild and sunny, with a high of 67,
Clouds will move in that night, bringing a slight chance of rain by Saturday morning, growing more likely throughout the day.
