YESTERYEARS
40 YEARS AGO: The Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors approved salary increases of 11 percent to 16 percent for county employees. The salary package negotiated between county administrators and employee representatives had a “floor” settlement of 10 percent raises for almost every job classification, plus a $25 per month across the board increase for every worker.
