Foster, adoptive parents get date night

About 30 couples who are foster or adoptive parents got a date night Sunday thanks to Love Modesto. It entertained about 100 children while the parents enjoyed free or discounted restaurant meals, movies and other activities. The kids came to Redeemer Modesto, a church on H Street, for dinner, bounce houses, a Beyer Science Club demonstration and more.
