CHP investigating fatal accident near Strawberry

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident in Tuolumne County off Highway 108 near Georges Drive.

The accident, which is near Strawberry, was reported at 4:43 p.m.

According to the report, a “full-sized jeep” was discovered 100 feet off the roadway and on its side or roof. There is at least one confirmed fatality.
