Info: The California Historical Radio Society will hold an antique radio sale and swap meet featuring hundreds of vintage radios and items from the golden age of radio. The free event will include vintage radio appraisals, raffles, food and fun. Sellers and buyers of vintage radios are welcome. A voluntary donation will be asked of sellers. Yesteryears
100 YEARS AGO: H.M. Briggs reported to the board of directors for the Modesto Irrigation District that the taxes owed for 1914 had been collected, totaling $174,031.31. Only $964.40 in taxes owed to the district were outstanding; this was due to property that the district had out on bid at the most recent sale.
