The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. The crash occurred at the intersection of Whitmore Avenue and Sixth Street.

Deborah Miller, 44 of Ceres, was eastbound on Whitmore and made a left turn into the path of Officer Frederico Ortiz Jr., who was westbound on Whitmore on a Harley-Davidson police motorcycle, said California Highway Patrol officer Eric Parsons.
