Patterson motorcyclist killed in Livermore accident

A Patterson man died Monday from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Livermore, according to the Contra Costa Times newspaper.

Robert Cruz Sr., 67, of Patterson, was identified as the fatal victim in a crash involving Cruz’s motorcycle and two other vehicles at about 12:44 p.m., according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.

The newspaper reported that emergency crews were called to the intersection of Isabel Avenue and Concannon Boulevard on a report of a collision. Crews found Cruz on the ground suffering from injuries. An off-duty firefighter was tending to Cruz.

Occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured, according to fire officials.

There was no further information about the accident.
