Yesteryears

40 YEARS AGO: The Modesto City Council approved a second rustic wooden pedestrian and bike bridge that would connect Moose Park and Kewin Park across Dry Creek. The cost was estimated at $20,000. The bridge would cross Little John Creek, a tributary for Dry Creek, between Kewin and Thousand Oaks Parks. The bridge would be 55 feet long and 6 feet wide, and stand 11 feet above the creek bottom.
