Governor appoints new judge in Stanislaus County
SACRAMENTO - Gov. Schwarzenegger today appointed Dawna Frenchie Reeves as a judge in the Stanislaus County Superior Court.
Reeves, 44, of Livermore, has been a deputy district attorney in Stanislaus County since 1997.
She has a degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and a bachelor of arts degree from San Diego State University.
Her appointment fills one of several new judgeships around the state created by Senate Bill 56.
