Bands take Graceada Park stage for Modesto’s Modstock

More than 30 local youth bands took the stage Sunday at the annual Modstock Music Festival at Graceada Park in Modesto.

The Valley Music Institute and Roberts Auto Sales put on the free event, inspired by the Woodstock gathering in 1969.

Performers included student groups involved in the VMI summer session and more. The festival also featured booths for food, drink, arts and crafts, demonstrations and other family activities.
