2 sent to hospital after Woodward Reservoir incidents

Two people had to be resuscitated and transported to the hospital after a pair of incidents Saturday afternoon at Woodward Reservoir.

The first call was received at 3 p.m. by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, which responded to a report of a possible drowning, according to Sgt. Jon McQueary. The victim was removed from the water and resuscitated before being taken to a local hospital.

Within a few minutes of that call came a report of a possible jet ski collision, with one person down in the water. That person also was taken from the reservoir, resuscitated and transported to the hospital, McQueary said.

McQueary did not have information on either person and had no other information on their conditions or the incidents.
