Farm to Table Dinner offers Stanislaus-grown fare
Ticket sales have been extended through Sunday for the Farm to Table Dinner, an Aug. 5 fundraiser for the National Ag Science Center in Modesto.
The fourth annual event will include food raised in Stanislaus County and prepared by Greens on Tenth restaurant. It will take place for a second straight year on a research field at Stanislaus Farm Supply, south of Ceres.
The center runs the Ag in Motion trailer, a mobile laboratory for junior high school students, and other programs that teach people about farming and related ventures.

▪ A main entree of chicken marbella, featuring olives, capers and dried apricots;
▪ One side dish of rice pilaf with almonds, another of sweet corn;
