Final Family Fun Night coming up at Apostolic Jubilee Center in south Modesto

Family Fun Nights will wind up Friday with free haircuts, meals and hands-on science activities provided by the Enochs High Forensic Biotech Club.

The free event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Apostolic Jubilee Center, 821 Lassen Ave., in south Modesto.

“Our goal is to continue building positive relationships and provide educational, health, and community support services to children and their families. This Friday is packed with tons of family fun and science activities,” said coordinator Jorge Perez, with Modesto City Schools.

The School of Paul Mitchell will be providing free haircuts to students. Enochs High teacher Dave Menshew will oversee teens leading science activities, and Python Ron will show his reptiles and insects. There will be entertainment and free food for all families in attendance.

The series of Friday Family Fun Nights is a collaborative effort with Apostolic Jubilee Center, Modesto City Schools, Enochs High School Forensics Biotech Club, South Modesto Partnerships and United Hands.
