Info: This yoga class for people with multiple sclerosis is sponsored by the MS Society Northern California Chapter. The class meets every Tuesday. Benefits include increased relaxation, breathing improvement, better balance, confidence building, improvement of strength and prevention of cartilage breakdown. The National MS Society offers financial assistance that may reduce the cost of the yoga class to $5 per visit. YESTERYEARS
50 YEARS AGO: It was announced that Foster Farms was given the OK by Stanislaus County to begin building an agricultural building on its property near Oakdale. The permit for the building was $150,000, and was part of a total $287,866 in permits applied for in the county’s unincorporated area from the previous week. Foster Farms planned to build a 30,000-square-foot concrete building at its Albers Road location.
